Hi, I worked as a Paraprofessional for Baldwin Elementary Intermediate Center for 7 years.  I spent 18 years working with preschool children before I became a paraprofessional for the Baldwin District.  I started as the SLPA in January of 2019. I love working with children and seeing the benefits of early intervention.  My youngest son required speech services in early childhood and the results were outstanding. I truly love working with children as a SLPA. It is one of the most rewarding jobs I have ever had.

My husband and my two sons have lived in Baldwin City for 15 years.  I am originally from a small town in Arkansas. We moved to Baldwin because we wanted our boys to grow up in a small town like both me and my husband did.

Things that make me happy:

  • Sweet Tea

  • Reading

  • Photography

  • Spending time on the lake with my family

  • Jayhawk Basketball

  • Dark Chocolate

  • Movies

  • Coffee

  • Game nights with friends

  • Music
